A system update can be performed via the Web configuration. As soon as a system update is available, the administrator is informed via e-mail and push notification. In addition, a notification is displayed in the Web configuration.
Please ensure that the power supply is not interrupted during the update and that a stable broadband internet connection is available.
Log in to the web configuration and, if necessary, download a backup.
The system automatically creates a new data backup before each update.
Check if an update is available
You can check for a new version under the "Software" menu item.
Click on the "Update Now" button to list the available updates.
Choose the update to install
By pressing the "i" button, further information about this update is displayed, as well as the button to start the installation.
Start the update
Start the update by clicking on the button "Update to version X now".
The update is now being downloaded
Please be patient. Depending on your connection speed, this may take a few minutes.
The update is being installed
The status of the installation will be displayed below the progress bar.
The system is now being restarted
Please wait until the system is restarted
During the system restart, you may see an error message stating that the connection to the device has failed.
During the startup process, a placeholder is displayed to you.
Once the web configuration is accessible again, you can verify the version number under the "Software" menu item.
If you have any problems with the web configuration after an update, please clear the cache of the website. This can be done in most browsers by using CTRL + F5.
