System
In the "System" section, you will find settings and functions that relate to the system in general.
Various information about the system is displayed in the status area.
In addition to the current firmware version, various IDs and system metrics are displayed.
You also have the option here to restart the system or reset it to factory settings.
To confirm the reset of the device, you will need the master key. This key is printed on a sticker on the bottom of the device.
The file section provides access to system log files.
The log files for the smart home control refer exclusively to the EnOcean controller.
You can find the entries related to the SmartNode services, such as IoT Export, in the system log files.
Move the mouse over a file entry to see the available options, such as file download.
Here you can change the data of the administrator account that was set up during system configuration or reset the admin account.
Resetting the admin account will delete the email and password of the admin user. After a restart, the EG122SN will automatically switch back to setup mode.
By resetting the admin account, all other configurations will remain intact. This can be used to preconfigure a system. The end user will then only need to set an administrator password.
Basic system settings are made here.
The alias also serves as the hostname in the network and is used as the profile name when generating client QR codes.
The operating mode can be set to determine whether the system functions as a controller (SmartNode) or as an EnOcean Gateway (SmartConnector). In gateway mode, the IP address of another controller can be specified. This controller will then take over the system management.
The set time zone is relevant for the correct execution of timed functions of the system.
Each element of the alias must be between one and 63 characters long. The entire name, including the dots, can only be 253 characters long. Allowed characters are ASCII(7) characters from a to z and numbers from 0 to 9, as well as hyphens (-). The alias must not start with a hyphen.
