In the menu "Network" you will find the settings for network configuration.

You can disable individual network interfaces, but you can only deactivate the interfaces that you are currently not accessing the web configuration. Disabling this interface is blocked to prevent any further access to the web configuration.

You can see the MAC address in the middle of the interface element.

The current status of the network interface is represented as an icon on the right side.

LAN

Here you can make settings for the wired network interface.

You can configure the IPv4 and IPv6 settings for the interface separately or completely disable their usage.

Settings

When selecting the IP settings, you have the option to either obtain them via DHCP or configure them manually. By default, the IP is obtained via DHCP.

It is possible to enter multiple DNS servers if they are separated by commas.

However, only the first server is displayed in the interface.

Wifi

The Wifi interface can either provide its own Wifi network (WPA2 access point) or work as a WPA2 client.

Access point mode

In the delivery state, the access point mode is active. The EG122SN provides its own Wi-Fi network. You can find the login credentials and the SSID on the device's sticker.

On the sticker of the device, there is a QR code that contains the factory-set WLAN access data. By scanning the code, you can establish a connection with the access point.

If the automatic configuration is used, the factory-set SSID and password are used. Remove the check mark for automatic configuration if you want to configure it yourself.

The password used must be at least 8 characters long.

In the Additional settings you can configure whether devices that connect to the access point should be forwarded to the web configuration.

Client mode

In client mode, a connection is established to an existing WLAN access point, such as the local router of your internet provider.

Settings

You can configure the IPv4 and IPv6 settings for the interface separately or completely deactivate their usage.

When configuring the IP settings, you have the option to either obtain them automatically through DHCP or set them manually.

It is possible to specify multiple DNS servers if they are separated by a comma.

However, only the first server is displayed in the interface.

Select network

The available networks are listed and the symbol in front of the name provides an indication of the network's signal strength.

Once you select a network, you will be prompted to enter the password.

It is not possible to search for networks in Access Point mode. Therefore, a scan for available networks is performed before starting the Access Point mode and these networks are cached. If the desired network is not listed, please try restarting the device first to update the list of available networks. Alternatively, you can also use manual network entry.

Manual network selection

You can also connect to non-visible SSIDs by selecting the "Connect to other network" option and enter the SSID and password of the network.
