Software
In the "Software" section, you will find settings and functions related to the controller software.
The state area displays various information regarding the smart home controller.
There, not only the current software version is displayed, but also the VID and, if necessary, other software metrics.
You need the VID for remote access. Once the cloud service is connected, you can access your system from anywhere.
The backups of the smart home controller settings can be managed in this area. Not only can backups be uploaded or deleted here, but new backups can also be created or old ones restored.
You can create a new backup using the plus button.
Give the backup a meaningful name for a better overview. Use the Save button to start the creation of a new backup.
A new dialog opens when you click on the button to upload a new backup.
Please select here the backup you want to upload, and check the box to confirm that all settings of the Smart Home Controller should be overwritten.
Please note that the process cannot be undone and you cannot install a backup of a higher software version into a system with an older version.
