Getting started
First connect the antennas and, if necessary, the network cable. The power supply is connected last.
After starting the gateway, an administrator password must first be set for the gateway. This password is set when the web configuration is called up for the first time.
Make absolutely sure that the antennas are mounted correctly. Incorrect mounting can damage the antenna connection!

The Micro USB port cannot be used.
The gateway comes with a WiFi access point in the delivery state. The WiFi credentials are printed on a sticker on the back of the device. You can also scan the QR code located there.
Normally, you will now receive a message on the device you are accessing, stating that internet access needs to be configured. If you confirm this message, you will be redirected to the web configuration of the gateway.
If this does not work, you can also enter the IP address 10.42.0.1 in the web browser to access the web configuration.
In its delivery state, the LAN interface obtains its IP address via a DHCP client. The assigned IP address can be used to access the web configuration.
In general, the IP assigned to a network device through DHCP can usually be obtained by the network router.
If you connect a monitor via HDMI to the gateway (before making the power supply connection), the assigned IP will be displayed there.
The HDMI cable must be connected before the power supply is connected.
There is also a cloud service for finding gateways in the local network. You can access this via https://discovery.iot.bsc-center.de.
If the gateway and the client use the same Internet access, the available gateways should be listed here. Possibly, this service can be affected by network settings or provider settings.
The administrator password can now be set on the setup page of the web configuration.
Optionally, an email address can be provided for the administrator. Notifications will be sent to this email address.
Once you have completed the setup, you will be redirected to the web configuration login page. Here you can now log in using the password you have chosen.
